Welcome to Maajkart, operated by Maajitha Infotech Private Limited (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”), a private limited company incorporated under the laws of India, with its registered office at Ground Floor, 12 F Block, Thanikachalam Nagar West, Nearby Landmark: ECI Zion Church, Ponniammanmedu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu – 600110, India. This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) outlines our procedures for shipping Products purchased through our B2C e-commerce platform at maajkart.com or www.maajkart.com (the “Website” or “Services”). Our Products include various brands of mobiles, mobile accessories, smartwatches, smart TVs, headphones, AirPods, and related consumer electronics (collectively, “Products”).
By placing an order, you (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) agree to this Shipping Policy, our Terms and Conditions, Privacy policy, refund and returns policy and any applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. We strive to ship Products efficiently and securely, but all shipments are subject to availability, carrier performance, and external factors beyond our control. This Policy is for informational purposes only and does not create any contractual obligations beyond what is stated in our Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of such changes.
- Order Processing and Confirmation
Upon receiving your order, we process it within 1-3 business working days (excluding weekends and public holidays in India, etc…). You will receive an order confirmation email with your order details. However, we reserve the right to delay processing or cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or compliance issues, without liability. In such cases, we will notify you promptly via any of the communication medium such as the provided email, via call from the provided contact number, via whatsapp from the provided contact number or via sms from the provided contact number and issue a full refund if applicable. This is done solely at our discretion only.
All orders are shipped from our vendors, godowns, warehouses, shops, authorized partners or our authorized fulfilment centres in India. We are not responsible for delays in order confirmation caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by you.
- Shipping Methods and Carriers
We partner with reputable third-party carriers, such as [Shiprocket, ST Courier, Professional Courier, DTDC, Trackon, Blue Dart, India Post, or Delhivery, Xpressbees Surface, Ekart Logistics Surface, etc…], selected at our discretion based on location, Product type, and cost efficiency. Shipping methods include standard ground service; expedited options may be available at checkout for an additional fee applicable.
We do not guarantee specific carriers or methods, and carrier selection may change without notice. You agree that we are not liable for carrier-specific issues, including but not limited to strikes, route changes, claims of courier partners unserviceable areas or service disruptions, etc…
- Shipping Times and Estimates
Shipping timelines are estimates only and commence once the order is processed and shipped. Our Approximate typical domestic delivery times within India are:
- Metro Cities (e.g., Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore): 5-7 business days approximately.
- Tier-1 Cities: 7-10 business days approximately.
- Other Areas (including rural/remote locations): 7-15 business days approximately.
These estimates exclude processing time, weekends, public holidays, and unforeseen events (e.g., weather disruptions, rain, customs delays for restricted items, Courier partner side delays, etc…) We do not guarantee delivery within any specified timeframe and disclaim all liability for delays, including consequential damages. In the event of a delay exceeding 30 days, you may contact us for resolution, but we are not obligated to provide compensation as per our constrains.
- Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on Product weight, dimensions, destination, packaging, handling and selected method. It may vary depending on any our situations and our needs of our Services. Fees are non-refundable, even if delivery is delayed or fails due to carrier issues. We may offer free shipping promotions, which are subject to terms (e.g., within Chennai) and revocable at our discretion. A pan India flat rate shipping also applicable is ₹149. This might be applicable in most cases..
Taxes, duties, or additional fees (e.g., for oversized items) are your responsibility and added at checkout. International shipping is currently unavailable; all deliveries are limited to addresses within India unless otherwise specified.
- Delivery Areas and Restrictions
We ship to all pin codes in India serviced by our carriers. However, deliveries to certain remote, conflict-affected, or carrier-restricted areas may incur extra fees or be unavailable. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to high-risk addresses or those associated with prohibited activities.
Someone of legal age (18+) must be present to accept delivery for high-value Products (e.g., mobiles, smart TVs). If delivery requires a signature, refusal or inability to sign may result in return to sender, with reshipment fees borne by you.
- Risk of Loss, Damage, and Inspection
Title and risk of loss or damage to Products transfer to you upon handover to the carrier or delivery agent, whichever occurs first. We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring post-handover, including during transit or after delivery.
Upon receipt, inspect Products immediately for damage, tampering, or shortages. Report issues to the carrier first (using the provided tracking number) and notify us at maajkarttech@gmail.com within 24 hours, including photos and order details. Failure to inspect and report timely may void any claims. For damage claims, you must file with the carrier within their deadlines; we will assist where possible but assume no liability for carrier resolutions.
- Tracking and Updates
A tracking number will be sent to you via any of our available communication medium on demand. Track shipments via the carrier’s website or our provided link. We provide you the tracking details once available on your demand, but we are not responsible for tracking inaccuracies or communication failures.
- Undeliverable or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address, refused delivery, or unclaimed after 7-10 days), it will be returned to us at your expense. Upon return, we may:
- Reship to a corrected address provided from you for an additional shipping fee.
- Issue a refund minus original shipping, return fees, and restocking charges (up to 10%).
- Retain the Product if fees exceed value, with no further refund.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring accessibility.
- Cancellations and Changes
Orders cannot be cancelled or modified after processing begins, except at our discretion. Shipping address changes post-shipment are not guaranteed and may incur fees. Contact maajkarttech@gmail.com immediately for requests.
- Force Majeure and Limitations
We are not liable for shipping failures or delays due to force majeure events, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or carrier insolvency, etc… Our total liability under this Policy is limited to the shipping fee paid, excluding indirect or consequential damages.
